 Amelia Ballak – PAINTING ARTIST

Amelia Ballak is a student at the University of Toronto. She is currently pursuing her degree in Music. She plays the Tuba among other instruments. At an early age, art came naturally to Amelia. Throughout high school, she studied fine arts, graphic design and music through an Enriched Integrated Arts Program. She has had several opportunities to display her talent in her community.  Art galleries have displayed her work, as well as shows within her high school, Eastwood Collegiate Institute, in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

Her passion for animals was very evident at an early age. When her family started breeding Barbet (French Water Dogs) she became very involved, especially in the grooming and handling at conformation shows.  Eventually Amelia decided to paint one of the Barbet. This then became a challenge, and now a passion.  Amelia is very honored and excited to introduce her permanent exhibit “Breeds of the Water” within the Canine Splash Facility.
